HOOOYI is a streetwear brand born from creativity, self-expression, and the culture that inspires us every day. Since 2022, we’ve been creating pieces for people who like to do things their own way. No rules, no labels—just wear what feels right and make it your own.

Behind HOOOYI is a young team fueled by ideas, curiosity, and a love for creating. We believe the best ideas come from different voices, different perspectives, and people who aren’t afraid to stand out. That’s why we celebrate individuality, encourage self-expression, and keep an open mind. Because creativity looks different on everyone—and that’s exactly the point.

Summer 2022

A few friends, a lot of ideas, and probably too much confidence. That’s how HOOOYI started in the summer of 2022. We had no idea what was coming next, but we decided to go for it anyway.

Fall 2022

Our first order came from Matthew in Ohio, USA. We were complete strangers on the internet, and somehow he still clicked “Place Order.” Looking back, that was a pretty bold move—and we’re glad he did.

Summer 2023

Orders kept coming in, and before we knew it, we had outgrown another warehouse. So we packed everything up and moved again—our second warehouse move in just a year. Things were getting crowded, and honestly, we loved seeing that problem.

Fall 2023

We started building local warehouses around the world because nobody likes waiting forever for a package. The closer we got to our customers, the faster their orders showed up at the door.

Winter 2023

We moved into a bigger office with one simple rule: don’t leave the walls boring. A few paint markers, spray cans, and late nights later, the place started looking less like an office and more like the headquarters of a crew obsessed with creating things.

Winter 2023

The first piece of furniture landed in our new office. One desk down, a million ideas to go.

Spring 2024

The T-shirts officially took over the warehouse.
What started as a few shelves somehow turned into mountains of boxes, endless stacks of tees, and narrow paths we had to squeeze through just to get around. We’re pretty sure the T-shirts outnumbered the team at that point. Not a bad problem to have.

Summer 2024

We imported a direct-to-garment printer from Japan.
It cost a small fortune. For a few days, every time we looked at the invoice, our hearts skipped a beat. But the moment we saw the first print come out, we forgot all about that. Better prints, faster ideas, and way more room to experiment. No regrets.

Fall 2024

We linked up with local artists and creatives who saw the world a little differently. New ideas, new projects, and plenty of inspiration started flowing through the community.

Spring 2025

What started as a small idea somehow ended up catching the attention of media outlets like ELLE. Getting featured was cool, but being able to tell our story in our own words was even better.

Summer 2025

Over 700,000 people have worn HOOOYI. That’s 700,000 stories, 700,000 different styles, and way more than we ever imagined when this journey began.
